About Us
Established in 2015, Long Island Strong Baseball Academy’s mission is to promote player development, with an end goal of creating a showcase player who is looking to continue to play at the next level…
We are proud to announce our recent sponsorship by SSK Baseball: a full-line baseball brand, equipping both amateur and professional players alike. SSK takes tremendous pride in producing elite products that show detailed craftsmanship of the manufacturer. The Long Island Strong Baseball Academy puts player development at the top of the priority list. With quality coaching and an individualized approach, we get our athletes game-ready both mentally and physically. The wins start within the team: everyone has a job to do, and each individual has prepared themselves for each job.
In the summer of 2018, we were ranked #30 in the nation by Perfect Game for 17u, and the #1 team in NY state by Perfect Game.
Our organization is required to step into a proper Strength and Conditioning program at Showtime Athletics (Holbrook) with our very own Baseball AND Performance Coach, Jarad Vollkommer. We want to give our athletes a true “college-like” experience when they wear the Strong uniform.
Pitcher’s have a specific program they must follow pre- and post-game, position players have jobs to do between innings, and each individual plays for the guy next to them.
The Long Island Strong Baseball Academy is also partnered with Axcess Baseball: a new-age media company that provides highlights, insights, and coverage for high school and travel baseball. Axcess Baseball is considered to be the top networking site on the island.
The Long Island Strong Baseball Academy will be holding their winter workouts at the brand new Showtime Athletics in Holbrook, NY. Our athletes will have the option to acquire access during off-peak hours (TBD).
As always, we are looking to add more players into the #StrongFamily who are competitive and enjoy the game of baseball!
